The last week has brought some pool fun, a traumatic cat attack, a reunion with a friend, two stolen purses, a horse ride, and some other surprises--both welcomed and not-welcomed.
Tomorrow the craziness continues with a trip to the U.S. Embassy and the doctor. Yay. :) Thankfully, the trip to the doctor's was planned. The trip to the Embassy was not.
Life. You know?
All this is to say, we're still here. But give us a bit.
In the meantime, I stumbled across a photo from almost 2 years ago, taken during our last trip back to the States. It brought back some wonderful memories.
That's my dad introducing Ava and Tai to the ocean for the first time. Can you imagine what was going through their little minds? I'm excited to "reintroduce" them to it again soon!
And, yes, that's me watching it all from behind (I'm realizing I rarely make an appearance in blog photos because I'm often the one with the camera!).

I can remember the first time I saw the ocean. It was amazing and frightening and exciting all wrapped together.
