The drive to Kampala is far from a fun one. The rough roads, long journey, and hot sun (in a car without air conditioning) make it tiring for sure! But the one perk is the chance to enjoy a decent restaurant meal. One of our favorites is Thai (and, yes, Tai loves Thai too :-)). Last week Ava, Shawn and I drove into town so Ava could meet our soon-to-be-son, her new brother! We had a great time spending the day with our little girl--she's such a joy. Here are a couple pics from our special meal (no pics of new baby yet...we're waiting until things are more final)
Passion fruit juice isn't really Thai (as far as I know), but it's our favorite fresh juice here!
